There are different interior design drawing techniques, including one point perspective drawing, two point perspective drawing, isometric drawing and axonometric drawing. Let's start with one point perspective drawing and start designing your own room!

In one point perspective drawings, we use a single vanishing point to draw objects. Draw a rectangle, some vertical lines, horizontal lines in the middle of the paper for guiding the depth.The long and short wings can function as a ruler. If you find it not long enough for your design, you can even connect 2 wings together with magnets for an even longer ruler.  

Sketch diagonals from the centre of the paper. Connect the corner of the rectangle to the edge of the paper.

Sketch vertical lines for the walls. Draw lines for the floor tiles. 

The long and short wings are not just an ordinary ruler. Our EXLICON tool set is made by CNC machining, which can ensure accuracy. The checkered design greatly reduces errors in measurement. Each block is 1/16 inch wide. Designers do not have to worry about the errors.
