Exploring the Golden Ratio by TG Disc: Beauty in Proportion

The golden ratio is a mathematical concept that represents a visually pleasing and balanced proportion. It is approximately 1.618 ((1 + √5) / 2) and is often denoted as φ. The ratio is obtained by dividing a line or shape into two parts in such a way that the ratio between the larger segment and the smaller segment is equal to the ratio between the whole segment and the larger segment. It is believed to create a sense of harmony and beauty in various creative fields like art and architecture.


We can draw triangles set in golden ratio and Fibonacci golden ratio lines by TG Disc.

How can we do this? The L TG disc typically consists of three spiral lines with different radii (55.7, 51.7 & 47.4 mm). These radii are specifically chosen to create Fibonacci spirals in golden ratio.

By tracing these spiral lines, you can create a visual representation of Fibonacci spirals in  golden ratio, which are often found in nature and used in art, design, and architecture.

In addition to the spiral lines, an L TG disc also typically includes a set of marked golden triangles. These triangles are specifically designed to adhere to the golden ratio and create visually balanced compositions. The set of marked golden triangles consists of four triangles in total. Each triangle has a unique combination of side lengths that follow the golden ratio. 

To draw the triangle, use a pen to make three marks with the hole set, by connecting the markings, you will get the golden ratio triangle set.
